What
are your charges?
We
constantly review our charging structure to ensure that it remains
as competitive as possible and always represents excellent value
for money. Please call us and one of our friendly staff will be
happy to advise you.
What's
your pricing policy?
We
offer a "NO FIX NO FEE" policy, if we can't find a suitable
solution to your probelm then we won't charge you, it's that simple.
Are
your telephone lines really open 24/7?
Yes,
all calls to PC Callout Limited are free and will be answered
by a living and friendly human being, 24 hours a day and 7 days
a week. When calling us, every call will be answered and you will
never be greeted by a recorded message or call queuing system.
What
happens if the engineer is unable to repair my computer?
In
this case, our No-Fix-No-Fee * policy means that there will be
nothing to pay at all, apart from a small callout fee.
Is
there a callout fee to pay?
We
don't charge a callout fee.
Do
you charge for travelling time?
It
all depends where you're located, usually this is a no, ask us
for more details.
Are
your engineers fully qualified?
Our
engineers are fully qualified and highly experienced. They are
carefully selected and have all spent many years working in the
computer industry.
Which
methods of payment do you accept?
We
accept payment in cash, by cheque (with guarantee card). A full
receipt/invoice will be given.
Is
your work guaranteed?
Our
work is fully guaranteed. All components are supplied new and
are covered by a full twelve months parts and labour warranty.
Desktops are covered by a twelve month on-site warranty. Laptops
are covered by a 28 day guarantee by ourselves, then they are
covered by the appropriate manufacturers guarantee (usually one
year). All networking products are covered by a 28 day Waterfall
Technology guarantee, and then they are covered by the appropriate
manufacturer guarantee (Netgear products are guaranteed for two
years).
Can
I limit the booking to one hours' work?
Yes,
you can choose to limit the booking to one hour and the engineer
will do his very best to complete the work within the agreed timescale.
If
the repair takes only forty minutes, will I have to pay for a full
hour?
Our
minimum charging period is one hour. If the repair is completed
in less time than this, the engineer will offer to stay for the
remaining time to carry out a general PC health check or a virus
scan.
Do
you repair laptops?
We
carry out software related repairs to laptops, however, we do
not repair laptop hardware failures. For laptop hardware failures,
we recommend that you contact the manufacturer of your machine.
Are
you fully insured?
Yes
we have full public liability insurance.
